Swordfish Harpooner 1994

Built for the Chilmark Tricentennial the Town voted two years later for the sculpture to stay in Menemsha. In 2017 it was cast in bronze.

Swinging Jenny 2017

Commissioned by the Durst Organization for it’s VIA57 Complex on West 57th Street in Manhattan it is 18’ tall and Jenny in cantilevered out 22’. It is cast bronze with an engineered armature of stainless steel tubing inside the sculpture.

Blue Fisherman 2021

One of the ten large sculptures Jay installed on Main Street in Gloucester, Virginia for the summer of 2021 the Blue Fisherman was selected by the Cook Foundation to become a permanent part of the Arts Scene on Main Street. The Blue Fisherman is painted cast stainless steel 7’ high by 24” x 30”. The rod, line, and Fish are stainless steel. Complete sculpture 13’ high by 15’ long.

The Dance

First shown at the Academy Art Museum in 2014 it moved to the Field Gallery in West Tisbury, MA before spending a year in Summit, New Jersey at the Community Center as part of Summit Public Art. After several years it traveled to China and returned with a new patina. The Dance is cast bronze 6’ 8” high x 8’ x12’ .

Jay’s ‘66 Tigers

B Ball Tiger and the Hitch Hiking Tiger

They move around a lot. In the photo they are leading the Class of 1966 in the P-Rade at Princeton University Reunions. They love going on the road and are real Party Animals.
